I have been
papercrafting for a couple of years now and can't imagine why I waited so long
to get involved. It's now my top 'favourite thing to do'! I love how I can
personalise all my gifts and cards with papercrafting techniques and that I can
make my photos so special by journalling and enhancing them to really tell a

TIP: Work very slowly when making
a flocked border on acetate. If you work too quickly pulling off the
flocking, it will bring the adhesive with it! Slowly does it for a better
border!

I am a 27 year old mother of 2. I have been scrapbooking for 7 years
but thoroughly addicted for the last 2 years. I have always been
interested in lots of different crafts, like embroidery, quilting
and painting. I try to use the skills from these other crafts in my
scrapbooking (plus it helps use up all the leftovers!). My main
inspiration to scrap is my family. With a 2 year old and a baby plus a
thorough addiction to my camera I have a never ending supply of cute
and not-so-cute photos to use. I like trying everything at least once.
As such I have no specific "style". I am always trying new things!
TIP: Use a very sharp cutter. Blunt ones shred your paper and give a fuzzy,
unprofessional look to your pages. Remember to get replacement blades
regularly!
